Samer A. KATERJI
Samer is an experienced investment banker with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services and investments industry for over 22 years.
Throughout his career, he has led the formulation and structuring of complex corporate finance transactions across a multitude of industries and regional markets. He is skilled in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Strategic Financial Advisory, Capital Optimization and Restructuring as well as structuring of Capital Markets financing instruments, both in equity and debt products.
Prior to this role, Samer led the Financial Institutions and Financial Sponsors advisory practice for Citigroup Global Markets in the Middle East and played a key role in the development of the franchise in the region. He has also held key positions at SHUAA Capital in Dubai, PrimeCorp Finance and Middle East Capital Group, in Beirut.
Samer holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Bachelor Degree in Science – Biology from the American University of Beirut.
Samer is also a board member of Air Arabia PJSC and member of GCC Board of Directors Institute.
Rody A. YARED
Rody is an accomplished investment banker with over 20 years of experience spanning across North America and the Middle East.
Prior to Trussbridge, Rody was responsible for growing J.P.Morgan’s investment banking business in Abu Dhabi from 2010 to 2014. He also managed J.P.Morgan’s equity capital markets business in the MENA region, and was one of the founding members that established the bank’s investment banking franchise in the region in 2007. Previously, Rody headed the Syndicate & Equity Capital Markets Department at SHUAA Capital in Dubai, after spending six years at Credit Suisse in the Equity Capital Markets division in New York.
Rody holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Commerce from Concordia University in Montreal. He also sits on the board of Directors for DalcCor Pharmaceuticals, The Endowment Fund at Selwyn House and on the board of Advisors for McGill University, Montreal.
Arif M. TRAORE
Arif has over 14 years of sector agnostic investment banking experience gained advising on Capital Optimization situations, be it through equity or debt instruments, as well as executing Buy-side and Sell-side M&A projects across European, Middle Eastern and African markets for several leading GCC-based companies.
Prior to joining Trussbridge in 2015, he participated in the development of Standard Chartered Africa focused Telecoms M&A and Debt structuring advisory practice. Arif started his career with Citigroup in London, where he spent 2005 to 2010, primarily advising global players in the Telecoms, Media and Technology industry on strategic, equity capital markets, as well as M&A mandates.
Arif holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Columbia Business School in New York City and a Bachelor Degree in Economics from the Victoria University of Manchester, United Kingdom.
